Steve is a fantastic lender for a lot of reasons, but the most important to me is that he is extremely responsive and always does what he says he's going to do. If he says you will have a quote within a couple hours, you do. Period. I believe I have done about 6 loans with him, large and small, and it is always the same.

Unsatisfied with their interest rate and feeling like I was just another business transaction, I came across Robert through Zillow to see what else was available. He was able to get me a better deal overall with a better interest rate and same closing costs. I also liked that Robert was very friendly from the start and very upfront about everything and the various options. He was quick to respond to questions/concerns and moved quickly to submit all the necessary paperwork to the underwriters and get everything approved within a very short timeline. The loan closed on time (which can be tricky with a new construction) and everything worked out perfectly. Robert is an outstanding guy that will do everything possible to make sure you are taken care of and treat you like a friend throughout the whole process.

I am an agent and work with many lenders but when it came time to refi my home there was nobody else i was going to use. He is the best lender out there. This letter is written in regards to Steve Saxton of Christian Roberts Mortgage. I have known Steve both inside and outside of a professional working environment for approximately 5 years now.
The first thing that comes to mind when describing Steve is integrity. There are many different personalities out there in the mortgage industry – but Steve has never exemplified anything less than a top level of integrity in anything and everything he does. His reputation speaks for itself – and anyone that is involved in the business has heard of Steve, and knows what a stand up person he truly is. His passion and commitment for his employees, his customers, and his business partners are of exemplary levels.
Next, I would have to say that Steve is the consummate professional. In an industry where people can easily lose their temper, or become critical of others who don’t meet expectations – Steve maintains a very even level of emotion, and has an uncanny ability to laugh (and make others laugh) in even the most intense and extreme circumstances.
